Dear YB, do you have to speak again at the last hours of Parliament, or it is a holiday today for the parliament?
While you may want to speak about poverty eradications and may be family it he lady MPs, they are born via a lday called mother, while they may forget, their mothers are watching and will feel sad if they have sons like them to belittle their female parlimentarians.
I hope you can help to develop more lady DAP MPs and please bring them aboard PJ, we may give her a chance if she works hard too.
You PJ DAP comrades may need fresh blood like you, compete with some of those elite BN MPs.
But if you cannot keep up the pace of present MP(one of them a lady MP too), forget about coming to try then!
Your ronnie liu had tried before, he failed. The last success was Dr Kua, it has been long time since then.

The truth is DAP, like its supporters, are the most positive critics any country can possibly hope for in the world. Even a stupid zealous like Jerai can see that and yet most bumiputras cannot see it. DAP should rule this country for sure but our human weakness would not allow this.

Saladin? Do I get this saladin right. As per your speech, it looks like Alladin, magician appears only if you rub the old lamp, you will be granted three wishes, what do you wish?
Open tenders?
Samy velu is the work ministers for too long. He had the greatest experiences in all forms of tenders, open, negotiated, closed, privatization, only selected few, and already decided few, and project management type,... consult him if you want the best system for your conveniences.
Malaysian government spent some ridiculous millions of some funny projects. The Hihgway Restaurants at Sg Buluh! Wonder who want to patronize that kind of services!
The best system is pre qualified and open tenders.
Pre qualified by ensuring their financial status now, and technical expertise with relevant experiences so that they have the best and cheapest ways of completing the projects.
Recently it was reported a proposed sarawakian jail took many years to build showed two distinct issue here.
West Malaysian construction companies will never have access to construct and compete fairly. There are cartels amongst the construction industry there to protect their market.
Number two, the project was most probably negotiated and somewhere some thing goes worng, those who supposedly awarded the projects are not liable and many could have enjoyed some 'sin money' and spent the money, hence, poor subcontractors or sub sub contractors and workers were not paid fully either!
Really qualified contractors should be invited, and international contractors to be given chance to compete too. This will give the true competition when it involved billions of public funds. The lowest will be awarded, and they will need to perform or else their deposits known as performance bonds will be forfeited, With those millions we saved, we can just use the money to help more deserving Malaysians. More bright brainy students can be given scholarships too.
In the past while in the name of protecting the local contractors, we noticed schools are built with cost double of JKR standard designs, and some even cannot be completed!
Those who control money and awarded the projects were never liable for the extra dollars dished out of our national treasury. Hence, if you want to have a real first class mentality, implement with fear of GOD and not just for the sake of pleasing some selected group of people--the haves!

Uncle Lim been talking about it being nice to have a first world parliment.

I called some bank and got the message,"...conversation will be taped for training purposes..." This gave me an idea that may be used towards improving our parliment.

1) Don't live telecast our parliment proceeding but broadcast on national TV & astro after the session is over

2) broadcast proceedings of UK/Australia parliment debates the next day

3) MP given time and token elaun to watch 1 and 2

4) orgniase "Malaysian Parliment Idol contest) member of public write in newspaper or SMS (since we are good at it) giving votes and contest

5) the chosen MP will get a hamper from Jaya Jusco or Isetan

This will make it fun and attract attention.

What do you guys think? Crazy idea?
