We seek police action against Metramac

Monday, 16-01-2006

From left, Tan Seng Giaw (Kepong), Fong Kui Lun (Bukit Bintang), party SG Lim Guan Eng, Tan Kok Wai (Cheras) and I with party members after Kok Wai lodged a police report against toll concessionaire Metramac Corporation Sdn Bhd (Metramac) at the Cheras district police headquarters at about 1pm today. Kok Wai also wants action to be taken against Daim Zainuddin and Umno-linked businessmen Halim Saad and Anuar Othman.

  1. I was actually wondering about this. Could a class action suit be filed against Daim and Halim Saad by residents of Cheras who has paid the toll for damages? Filing a suit against the government is futile but if it can be shown the action of Daim was separate from the government and directly responsible, a legal precedant could be set.

  3. I recall one of the beneficiaries of AP dispensed by Rafidah Aziz is her niece. Correct me if I am wrong but this can’t be legal but after six months Rafidah is still our Minister of International Trade & Industry. Those who abide a wrong-doer are also culpable.
